The 173d Airborne Brigade, known as the “Sky Soldiers,” is one of the Army’s most decorated combat units. From the battlefields of Vietnam to modern conflicts worldwide, the Brigade has built a legacy of courage, sacrifice, and combat excellence.
Today, the 173d Airborne Brigade Association preserves that legacy by connecting veterans, honoring fallen Sky Soldiers, supporting families of the fallen, and ensuring the stories of those who served are never forgotten.
The Brigade’s mission is deeply personal to our company—Spirits of Valor President Jakob Bradfield served with the 173d in Afghanistan, where he witnessed firsthand the courage, camaraderie, and selfless service that define the Sky Soldier. Through this partnership, we proudly help preserve the Brigade’s legacy, honor those who did not return, and support all who carry their legacy forward.
The Second Infantry Division’s history is replete with heroic individual actions and exemplary unit operations against stubborn and determined enemies in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Cold War, and the Global War on Terrorism. Its exploits and reputation, in peace and war, have solidified its place in US military history as “SECOND TO NONE.”
Today, the 2nd Indianhead Division Association supports and pays homage to the Soldiers, veterans, families, survivors, and descendants of the 2nd Infantry Division. Spirits of Valor is proud to commemorate that shared history with a bourbon created specifically for the Indianhead community.
At Spirits of Valor, we are proud to support the Wildland Firefighter Foundation and the extraordinary men and women who protect our communities, forests, and natural landscapes. This commemorative bourbon was created to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of wildland firefighters across the nation. Every bottle serves as a reminder of those who answer the call in the face of danger and of the Foundation’s ongoing work to support injured firefighters, assist their families, and preserve the legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We are honored to help shine a light on their service and the community that stands behind them.
Follow the mission, the people and the pours.
